Swirl rice with you hand, and drain out cloudy water. Rinse the rice in a few changes of water, until water is clear. After you thoroughly rinsed, cover rice with fresh water (2 inches above). I am very pleased with this Japanese Style Short-Grain Rice. It comes in a big bag that can be resealed to keep the unused portion fresh. The base of the bag is wide, so it can stand up in my pantry.The rice is straightforward to cook. I use my rice steamer, which results in perfectly sticky rice every time. I've served it as is with teriyaki chicken and I've used it to make sushi. It was easy to work with to make rolls and nigiri. I'll b e happy to purchase this rice again when I need more.
