These dishes are just so beautiful. The details around the plates is very fine and delicate. The plates are extremely light weight. They take up less space than my old dishes. They are very light weight but can hold as much food as you can load on them. Love these dishes.We are shopping for new tableware and love the way the china plates are light and stack well. So after looking at every bowl on Amazon, I picked these up. They are really easy to handle because they are really light and stackable in our little cupboard super easy. And they have bright colors, I have to say they are beautiful, and the patterns are amazing. Available in 5 sizes and a set to meet all my needsThis is a fairly nice set of moderate-priced porcelain from the country that invented porcelain, though the mass production quality is consistent with what China typically churns out at lower prices — the edge decoration is an applied stencil and overlaps at the joined ends to create a denser color in the overlap. Imagine colored but clear tape that is darker when overlapped. At this price better care should have been taken to lay down the stencil more precisely.Also be aware that the set is NOT honestly photographed, as represented here or on the paper leaflet that’s packed in the box. They’re displayed as a pale blue but they’re actually a pale blueish green. There’s a single photo on this product page, displaying the piece in a table setup, that shows that color. That’s the actual color we got with our order.Returning today, disappointed.This bone china is beautifully made and prettier than the picture, I love the color! ! Their gold-plated edges sparkle when you wash them in the sink. The touch and quality are better than anything I have in my cupboard, especially this embossed pattern is exactly what I want, and you can feel its fine texture when you rub it with your fingers.I really like these plates, this is my first bone china tableware set, his pattern is beautiful, friends appreciate it and make me feel good. When I ordered them, I was worried that they would be damaged in transit, delaying me entertaining friends with new plates. I was pleasantly surprised when I got it in my hand, the packaging was not damaged, and my fingers could be seen in the sun. The gilded edges gleamed when I put it on the dining table, and when I put them back I accidentally dropped a plate on the floor and was pleasantly surprised to find it wasn't damaged, it's thin but sturdy , the material feels great. I have a poor vocabulary and I can't think of a better word to describe it. I think you'll understand after you buy it. I think the combination of this tableware set is exactly what I need.
