5 star due to size, 3 different temps (high, low, warm), and no issues after first 10 uses.This is the perfect size. It is larger enough for 2 cans of beans, 2 ground up burgers (I use turkey), 1 can of tomatoes, plus your spices to make chili. The chili is more than enough for 2-3 persons.When I cook, I usually put it on high for the first couple of hours then switch to warm for the night. i only do this in order for ingredients to get warm and I get it a good mixing before I go to bed. You can leave on low or warm. For chili leaving on warm overnight is fine. Follow directions and not overfill and account for some water from fresh vegetables to come out and raise the line. If you over fill it can bubble. I have not had any issues with the lid as some have posted. There is some play, but the cover does hit on all sides.I have not tried cooking hens or regular size chicken pieces yet, but will probably stay to my usual routine for stirring and then going to warm overnight.The insert pot is full ceramic and easy to clean. No issues with food sticking or burning to the bottom or sides.I consider this size to be perfect for enough hot artichoke dip to last a whole party. I have a Lil Dipper and found myself constantly refilling that wee bitty pot through the evening; bummer too was that it would take a while to heat up a new batch so I had to nuke it and then put it in the bitty dipper...BUT NO MORE!This handsome crock has three settings so you can plop all your dip ingredients in there in the morning of your fête ou rassemblement and cook it while you do all your other tasks. Then just give it a stir and click the temp down to "keep warm" and then never worry about filling it.I find it is also the perfect size to make an amount of fish stew, gumbo or jambalaya that will get eaten in one dinner setting; basically any dish you'd love to slow cook but do not want a ton of leftovers of (I tend to think seafood dishes taste best that first day).This is a great slow cooker that is easy to clean with its removable crock (not so with the Bitty Dipper) that I find myself using more than I thought I would.It works, it is for a smaller portionThis slow cooker is perfect for someone who is only cooking for one or two. It works really well. I decided to cook a 1.5lb corned beef for 7 hrs on low; its was as tender as if I had cocked on one if the really expensive slow cooker. I also cooked chili in it, which was very good. The only reason it didn't get 5 stats is because its very heavy.Bought this for cooking soup or beans overnight. Appearance is decent in the kitchen, the high/low/warm setting all work fine. The inner pot is a bit on heavy side but easy to clean and looks nice enough to bring to the dining table as is. Larger size chicken leg quarter might not fit. Once in a while I wish I bought one with timer, but for the price, the overall quality is not bad.this unit works well and has a keep warm setting which helps keep dips and other food from burning. the ceramic bowl is removable for easy cleaning. the lid is glass with a metal rim. the switch seems to be a little flimsy feeling but has worked fine so far. can't complain for the price.When I first got it, I unpacked it and put it away, a week later I decided to use it and found out that it had a big dent in the back. the box it came in did not give any indication that there was any damage so it had to be done before leaving the factory, witch tell me that there is a lack of good quality control there.The size is just what I needed but I do not know if I will use this product.My reason for not returning it is that, in the time between I put it away and the time I used it, the box had been thrown away.Works fine ...but a bit smaller than I thought ....have a 4qt and a 6qt....maybe I should have gotten a 3qt....LOL.Es fácil de usar tiene el tamaño perfecto para mí proyecto,conserva perfecto la temperatura en cada nivel,me encanta!
