Washing And Cleaning The PartsFirst it should unplug it before taking the parts off. At this time you can remove the grinding plate from the body of the appliance.Most of the parts of the appliance are not safe to place in the dishwasher.When the operator is touching and cleaning the grinding plate and cutting blades, t hen the operator should be very careful. Take a soft sponge that isn’t abrasive and wash the cutting blades and grinding plate, then take a soft, dry cloth and hand dry each part, then place the parts aside and then let them air dry, because there are some areas that will not be able to dry with the cloth and air drying it will effective ly dry all the parts.To clean the motor on the appliance always use a clean, moist cloth to wipe down the motor. Never place the motor into the water.2. Storing The Grinder PartsStoring the grinder parts is just as important as washing them. Once the parts have air dried for an hour or two, then you should take food grade oil and a soft cloth, t hen coat all of the parts. Oiling the parts will keep them from rusting or corroding. Each of the parts to be thoroughly coated.The plastic grocery bags are great to use for wrapping the parts. Also, placing each part inside of the plastic bag with rice works great too. If there is any moisture or h umidity around the parts, then the rice will soak up the moisture, which will keep t he parts dry, rust free, and corrosion free.The motor should be placed in a dry, cool spot and away from any water or heat so urce. When it is time for you to use your mill grinder, then consider using a gallon of warm water with one tablespoon of bleach added. I bought it in 2020, but just used it for the first time recently. Even with the lid tightly sealed, when you turn it on, the spices blow out all over the kitchen. It’s a design flaw. In general, the entire device is flawed. Electric sparks come out of the control knob when it’s turned on. The speed, although it shows multiple, is just one. Trying to clean the machine after use is almost impossible. Tipping it over to get the spices out is just a bad design. There are sharp edges from screws on the lower plate, which cut you when you try to wipe it off.Overall, this is an absolutely terrible machine. I see that it’s no longer available. It’s possible that’s because it’s a hazard to use in addition to its other design flaws.Es excelente me encanto aunque hubo algunos problemas al inicio que llego quebrado, pero la empresa me respondio muy bien y se hizo responsable de todo lo que faltaba y estoy muy contenta de usar mi molino, es grandioso.Very disappointed. I bought this over a month ago but didn’t use it until today. It Is smoking and sparking. I am past the time to return this product, so I cannot return it. I had a smaller one that worked Really well, but I ran in to the same issue almost a year later; after I first used it. I tried to get it fixed through customer services; we emailed back and forth but turned out to be a runaround without any solutions. I wish there was a physical location we could send this item to for service. If this product works, it works well. When it doesn’t.... you may get stuck with a product. I am disappointed that I decided Nbt I give this product a second chance, but only to find myself with two grinders that are not working....Until now, the product works well. It is very powerfullGifted outside of the United States for processing. So far happy with product. Effective and efficient!
