I was very hesitant to buy this cuz there was no reviews but I’m so glad I did. Shipping was quicker than stated. I love this rice maker because it has all the different options. Switching between the options was super easy. We cook short or sweet rice daily and this rice maker makes both perfectly. I kept the rice in the rice maker at keep warm overnight and it was still fresh the next day also! It also doesn’t play a song like other rice makes so it isn’t annoying lol. It only beeps when it’s done. We r a small family so it’s just the right size at 5 cups. I mainly make 3 cups a day... and 5 if we have guests. Making sweet rice is quite a hassle so having this machine is a time saver! I’m so glad I splurged on this.Poor user manual. Rice to water ratio table is not provided. It comes with a cookbook but they forget to include any rice cooking recipe.Love it and works really well when on the goBought this to replace 10 year old Zojirushi which no longer able to keep proper temperature, the Zoji was reliable but it was the cheapest model they offer without fuzzy logic and the fancy featuresThis Tiger is worth the extra $$$ compared to the standard model, it cooks perfectly, don't have rice cracking in the pan and keep rice warm perfectly that it will not go bad after 1 day.I bought the tiger over comparable Zojirushi because it looks nicer, i mean ... Zojirushi sold millions of these but never bother to make design more modern rather than these mom rice cooker from the 80s, even the most expensive one with induction heating just looks like a rectangular shaped curvy in off white color.Well grad tiger make this one it definitely looks better with the dark grey color and more boxy shapeFirst of all, it looks really great and modern.No condensation containers as a modern rice cooker should be.Warming function is truly a blessing as it won't toast your rice no matter how long you put it in warmingRice turns out good.Warmer keep rice warm but rice becomes not as good, quick. And the cord doesn't stay in. So when its on, if I move(even just little) cooker will be turn off. I tried return but it was not in 30 days.
