I ordered this for my old M-1954 Mirro pressure cooker. The cooker would not hold steam when I used it. It looks like it is not as thick (tall) as my previous gasket. I had seen this model recommended for my model on some websites. My instruction book said I needed S-9890 but my cooker was not listed with that gasket size. I did not return the gasket because I let it go too late. If your gasket does not work, send it back right away.Reasonable priceWorks great. Brought my pressure cooker back to life40 year old MirroDidn't work for me. Thinner than the original and did not seal in three tries. I have returned it for a refund, but have not heard back from them yet (almost 2 weeks). Some earlier reviews had said it did not work, and other reviews had said it worked fine, so I tried it. Unfortunately, my cooker is one of the former, and no go. I suppose I will have to continue using the old gasket until it will no longer seal, and then throw it all away. The pressure cooker had been on a shelf for years, and I decided I may as well use it and it seemed prudent to replace the gasket. The purchase itself was fine, came promptly, etc. If I have trouble getting the refund I'll be back here to report.Prompt delivery and it fit just rightFit was fine.
