Needed big Mylar bags for full 5 pound bags of flour and sugar. These bags did not disappoint. Handles my vacuum sealer with ease and easy to work with.Pros:- You get 20, and the bags are certainly heavy duty to handle.- Bags look reusable, but you will end up with smaller bags eventually as you seal, tear, reseal.- My aftermarket (cheap) sealer can seal them if I go over the same spot 2-3 times.- Can definitely keep things 100% isolated from light.- They are lightweight, and come with stickers, though I personally prefer using a marker on them.- Arrived faster than an average Prime delivery.Cons:- My aftermarket sealer struggles with them, while it can handle PVC easily.- They are not cheap, so I use them sparingly.Other thoughts:- May be a bit overkill compared to sealable PVC if you don't need protection from light.- My vacuum sealer could not vacuum them right since the bags don't have air channels, which is expected since these are not sold as vacuum seal bags. I was just hoping to be able to vacuum them.These bags were durable and perfect for storing dry foods, like rice and wag great for keeping electronics dry and out of the elements for extended-storage purposes. The only downside is they didn’t come with ties, but zip-ties work perfect for it.I like that these bags are good for long term storage of all kinds of crafts from around the house.They look of high quality, arrived on time. The bags are thick and durable. Definitely recommend. I used them to store rice, beans and other grains for long storage. I vacuumed sealed them and I’m satisfied.These bags are good quality.
