Spent 30 minutes unpacking and getting familiar with the unit, then did some basic cleaning of the inside. Followed the instructions and 60 minutes later we had a nice serving of really good white rice to go with the teriyaki chicken. We will tweak our recipe to get the rice just the way we like it, but for the first attempt it came out great! Might even get me to like brown rice if it’s cooked this well. We retired to a rural area that does not have any good teriyaki (my go-to comfort food), so we are learning to make it ourselves, and this Cuckoo rice cooker makes it that much easier. Great product, easy to use and appears to be well-designed and constructed!Overall a solid rice cooker with more options than some of the old school one-button basic Tiger brand rice cookers. Although the rice turn out isn't as consistent even with the finger method and usually that rarely fails.Works well. The porridge setting results in porridge with fantastic texture. Normal rice cooking works well as well both with white/brown. Gaba setting is easy to set but I honestly don't taste much difference between just cooking the brown rice normally. Easy to clean, most of the part come apart. No complaints.A little complicated but once you learn to use it, it’s pretty easy. Only downside is that it takes a long time to cook. Always have to remember to cook 1 hrs ahead of time.Easy to use, affordable.THIS RICE COOKER IS AMAZING!!! It's such a good investment and makes great rice.Awesome rice cooker so far. When I unplug it time comes on and very easy to use. Put in your already clean rice with water, plug it in and press cook and walk away. Dings when it’s done. The inside pot is quite heavy but easy to clean.Hopefully will last for years to come. I had to change brand from Tiger it doesn’t last as long as it use to or I received a used product. Einziger Nachteil ist, dass die integrierte Uhr des Displays auf das 60Hz Stromnetz von Südkorea abgestimmt sein dürfte (unser europäisches Netz hat ja 50 Hz) und damit die Uhrzeit mit der Zeit kontinuierlich vorgeht. Ist aber alles verkraftbar (kann man jederzeit nachjustieren), alles in allem ein perfekter Reiskocher für den Alltag. Geschmacklich Top, außerdem hübsch anzusehen in der Küche mit den zusätzlichen koreanischen Beschriftungen.I love this rice cooker! I have no complaints. It's easy to use, the results are great, it's easy to clean and he manual is informative (if repetitive). Highly recommend this one!Have used this cooker for brown rice, short white rice and long grain rice and it works like a charm. I do recommend this over generic rice cookers without fuzzy logic systems since I have never been able to cook brown rice so well until this cooker. Plus, its probably the cutest addition to my kitchen so far - the pink and off white color looks incredibly charming and makes a great gift for family.
