have a small rice cooker, couldnt find what to cook in it, this book has tons of recipesI just purchased Lorena's Garcia's Skinny Mini rice cooker on another web site. The instructions were completely lacking so I bit the bullet and tracked down her cookbook that is supposed to go 'hand in hand' with the Skinny Mini cooker. That was fine except that I had never owned a rice cooker before and even the instructions in her book were lacking for a newbie to rice cookers. It was recommended to me to purchase this book -Simply the Best Rice Cooker Recipes - and viola! Now I understand the operation of a rice cooker when used for cooking anything OTHER THAN RICE. I purchased my rice cooker to use as a multi-cooker of sorts as that is how it was advertised. This book explains in detail the use of the cooker for rice and for other items you may want to cook in it including cake, pasta dishes, side dishes and main course meals - I just cannot say enough about how much I love this book. It also lists the recipes for use with different size cookers (dry capacity), 1.5 cup, 3 cup and 5 cup, adjusting the ingredient amounts needed for each size. There are 100 recipes in this book, each with a color photo and detailed instructions including cooking times. - I did not receive this book at a discount / I am not affiliated in any way with the maker of my rice cooker or the publisher of this book ~ I just love this book!Love this one!! Has recipes for 1 1/12 cup up to 5 cup cookers!!! Great!! Nice everyday recipes too that everyone can enjoy!!Great recipe book, actually the only one I found for the 1.5-3 cup rice cookers. Gives you enough recipes so you can create your own also.Excellent book for Wolf Gang Puck's 3 cup cooked rice cooker. The recipes are also given for the three cookers. 3, 6, 10 cooked rice cookers. Uncooked quantities are 1.2 cup, 3 cup, and 5 cup making it nice for any size cooker you purchased. The recipes are easy to follow, and the variety is excellent. There is an excellent source page for ingredients that are not readily available at grocery stores as well as kitchen tools and supplies that help you become a better cook.The recipes are varied and delicious. Good for one person or for several persons.Love to take our rice cooker on trips to save money on meals. Recipes were easy to follow and we're delicious. Most were already family favorite.I Love my tiny Wolfgang Puck rice cooker and this book is the perfect companion. Had to send it to a friend that reciently received their rice cooker. It really shows you a lot of recipes that can be made with the rice cooker, even cake!Lots of great recipes presented in this cook book and all are illustrated with nice, colour photos. A couple of nice videos illustrating many of then on YouTube, too. It’s just amazing what you can cook in a rice cooker. This particular recipe book also documents ingredient quantities for mini, medium and large rice cookers, so no need to be a math genius. Some of the recipes seem a bit more involved than I would like and I will need to translate a few American terms and ingredients into UK English. I also bought it for a brilliant price, too, which always helps.Just amazing recipes and with Ingredients that are always easy to purchase.Baking recipes in this book gave me confidence to try baking in my Mini Rice Cooker, with great success! Happy Customer.I didn't give this book 5 stars because I haven't actually tried any of the recipes. However, the variety of meals and desserts that you can cook is really impressive.I have done things in my rice cooker before and they have turned out very well so I’m looking forward to trying more
